Season Ends in Missouri |

Kyle Gorsuch struck out 9 in his 7 innings
of work but it was not enough for Post 22 to
continue their run at the World Series as
they fell to Eden Prairie 5-2. The
Hardhats were active at the plate connecting
9 times. Kolton Emery and Jordan
Carlson each collected two hits on the day.
Carlson and Jarrett Jensen provided the two
run scoring hits. Post 22 ends its
season with an outstanding 49-14 record.
Eden Prairie now takes its undefeated record
into the championship game against Festus MO
Monday.

BIG 5th Lifts Hardhats |

A 7 run 5th inning highlighted a big
regional win Saturday. Kolton Emery's
3 run homer broke things open for the day.
The game ended early as Post 22 scored 4 in
the 8th to increase the lead to 10. As
a team the Hardhats belted 10 runs and took
advantage of 5 Minot errors. Parker
Sullivan, Kolton Emery and Jarrett Jensen
were the team RBI leaders with 3 apiece.
Tyler Jones pitched a complete 8 inning
game, earning 11 strikeouts. He
allowed 8 hits and only walked 2. Next
up for the Rapid City squad is an unknown
opponent at noon or 6 Sunday. The
outcome of today's reaming games will
determine team and time.

Tough Day in Missouri |

Rapid City Post 22 mustered just 3 hits in 9
innings against Festus MO. The
Hardhats had trouble getting going Friday
afternoon and sent just one run across home
plate . Their run came in the 7th
inning. Festus did produce a few more
hits and a few more runs. Festus
connected for 17 hits. Post 22 sent 3
pitchers to the mound in the game.
Kolton Emery Started followed by Casey
Chilstrom and Jake Sullivan. Next up
for the South Dakota representatives will be
Minot ND Saturday at 11:30 Mountain time.

Big First Round Win |

Tanner Chleborad pitched 71/3 innings
Thursday afternoon to help Post 22 get a
first round win in the Regional tournament.
Tanner had 11 strikeouts while allowing only
8 hits and 3 runs. Thane Lees came in
for 12/3 innings of near flawless relief
allowing no runs.
The post 22 hitters
were hot with 13 hits on the day.
Although the Hardhats left 11 runners on
base, they scored enough to move on in the
tournament. Jake Bohne and Donte
Bledsoe each had 3 hits on the day.
Post 22 will next play Festus MO at 3:30
Mountain time

POST 22 FALL BALL |

The Post 22 fall ball season will start on Tuesday, August 31st from
4:00-5:30. Fall ball will every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the
fall. Current Post 22 players and players that are interested in
playing in the Post 22 program are welcome to participate. As always,
there is absolutely no cost to play in the Post 22 program. For more
