Bullets split at Spearfish
(07.22.2009) - The Rapid City Post 22 Bullets ended
the regular season on a sour note, splitting a doubleheader at Spearfish Tuesday
night.
The Bullets won the opener 10-8, but lost game two 7-2 at Black
Hills Power Stadium.
Tuesday's loss ended the Bullets 11-game win streak, as they finish
the regular year with a 30-15 mark.
In game one, the Bullets jumped out to a big lead with a six-run
first, and in fact led 9-1 after two and a half innings, but Spearfish cut the
margin to one before the Bullets added an insurance run in the sixth.
Every Bullet starter had a hit, led by Jake Sullivan's 3-for-4 day.
Blake Olson drove in two, and Ryne Lees doubled for the Bullets.
Greg Schaefer earned the win in 2 1/3 innings of relief. Jarrett
Jensen threw two shutout innings to pick up the save.
Game two saw Spearfish notch only three hits, but the Bullet
pitching staff walked or hit 16 batters, as the hosts won 7-2.
The Bullets had eight hits. Hunter Jackson and Mike Krebs each had
two, with Jackson recording the only RBI.
The Bullets will play the Black Hills Pony All-Stars in a 5 p.m.
exhibition doubleheader Frday night at Fitzgerald Stadium.

Sahli's no-hitter gives
Bullets title
(07.20.2009) - Tyson Sahli no-hit the Watertown Black Sox, propelling the Rapid
City Post 22 Bullets to their second tournament title in as many weeks.
The championship went to the Bullets thanks to their 11-0 victory
over the Black Sox Sunday at Hyde Stadium.
The Bullets, who took the Hargens/Leisy Tournament crown in
Gillette last week, went undefeated in four games at the Kirley Memorial
Tournament in Pierre.
Sahli was not perfect, walking four and hitting three. But he
struck out seven, and was never even hit hard in the contest.
Greg Schaefer went 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBis, Sam
Parkinson had three hits and three RBIs, and Jake Sullivan, Dylan Evans and Mike
Krebs all had two hits.
The Bullets (29-14) travel to Spearfish Tuesday for a 5 p.m.
doubleheader at Black Hills Power Stadium.

Bullets win big in Pierre
(07.19.2009) - Make it nine in a row for the Rapid City Post 22 Bullets.
The Bullets ran their Kirley Tournament record to 3-0 thanks to a
10-2, six-inning victory over the Watertown White Sox Saturday at Pierre's Hyde
Stadium.
Watertown scored single runs in the second and third, owning a 2-0 lead,
before the Bullets scored three in the third, five in the fourth, and the final
two in the sixth.
Jarrick Jensen went 2-for-5 with five RBIs to lead the Bullets. Sam
Parkinson added two hits, with Greg Schaefer and Hunter Jackson each doubling.
Jackson struck out five in a complete game five-hitter, picking up
his fourth win of the year.
The Bullets, 28-14, play the Watertown Black Sox at 10 a.m. CDT
this morning, and a win would give the Bullets the tournament crown.

Bullets take two in Pierre
(07.18.2009) - Ryne Lees and Jake Sullivan each turned in solid pitching
performances, and the Rapid City Post 22 Bullets mashed out 28 hits en route to
a pair of wins Friday night.
The Bullets defeated the Pierre 13-14s 12-4, and the Pierre 15-16 Bs 16-1
Friday night at the Kirley Memorial Tournament in Pierre's Hyde Stadium.
In the victory over the Pierre 13-14s, Lees struck out eight while allowing
10 hits in a complete game win.
Hunter Jackson was 4-for-4 with four RBIs, and Sullivan went 3-for-4 with a
double and an RBI to lead the Bullets, while Jarrick Jensen and Dylan Evans each
had two hits.
Four innings was all it took for the Bullets in the win over Pierre's 15-16
Bs.
Greg Schaefer and Sam Parkinson had three hits apiece, while Mike Krebs and
Jackson each had two hits.
Sullivan tossed a three-hitter, recording four strikeouts in four innings.
The Bullets (27-14), winners of eight straight, take on the Watertown 15-16
Bs at 5 p.m. tonight at Hyde Stadium.

Bullets run past Sturgis
(07.15.2009) - Eight innings and 35 runs was more than enough for the Rapid City
Post 22 Bullets to run their win streak to six games Tuesday night.
The Bullets defeated Sturgis 24-2 in four innings, and 11-1 in five
innings at Strong Field.
They had 21 hits in the opener, led by Jake Sullivan's 5-for-5 day.
The Bullet center fielder doubled once, tripled twice, and drove in three.
In fact, every Bullet had at least one hit and one RBI. Hunter
Jackson, Ryne Lees, Tyson Sahli and Roman Dewitt all had three hits. Greg
Schaefer and Dylan Evans doubled, and Jackson and Lees tripled.
Sam Parkinson was the winning pitcher.
A seven-run fifth inning propelled the Bullets to the mercy rule
win in game two.
Lees, Parkinson, Blake Olson and Jarrick Jensen had two hits
apiece. Jensen and Olson doubled, and Jackson tripled in the win.
Schaefer allowed eight hits with five strikeouts in the winning
effort.
The 25-14 Bullets will play in the Kirley Memorial Tournament in
Pierre this weekend,.

(07.13.2009) - Trailing 7-6 after five innings, the Rapid City Post 22 Bullets
to defeat Gillette, Wyo., 12-7, winning the Hargens/Leisy Tournament
championship Sunday in Gillette.
The Bullets built up an early 6-1 lead before the Rustlers scored
three in the third and three in the fifth to take the lead.
Hunter Jackson earned the win, tossing a complete game six-hitter.
He struck out three, walked four, and allowed only four earned runs.
Jackson also had three hits at the plate, including a double and a
triple. Greg Schaefer and Jarrick Jensen had two hits apiece.
The Bullets (23-14) are at Sturgis Tuesday for a 5 p.m.
doubleheader.

Bullets win two, will play
for title in Gillette
(07.12.2009) - The Rapid City Post 22 Bullets notched a pair of wins Saturday at
the Hargens/Leisy Tournament in Gillette, Wyo., clinching their spot in the
event's championship game.
The Bullets defeated Colstrip, Mont., 8-5 to finish pool play, then
routed Casper, Wyo., 11-2 in five innings in the semifinals.
Sean Seefeldt and Ryne Lees combined on a two-hitter against
Colstrip. Seefeldt struck out three in 4 1/3 innings to pick up the win. Lees
recorded the save by retiring all seven batters he faced, three via the
strikeout.
Jake Sullivan had two hits and an RBI, and Blake Olson drove in two
for the Bullets.
In the semifinal game with Casper, Alex Marker carried a no-hitter
into the fifth and final inning, as the game was shortened via the mercy rule.
Marker faced the minimum through four innings, finishing with a
two-hitter. He struck out three while tossing up seven groundball outs.
Jarrick Jensen hit a three-run triple and walked three times for
the Bullets. Hunter Jackson doubled and drove in three, and Blake Olson had two
RBIs.
The Bullets (22-14) will have an opportunity to avenge their only
tournament loss, as they meet hosts Gillette for the championship at 3:30 p.m.
today at Roughrider Stadium.

Bullets hang on against Miles City
(07.10.2009) - Needing a win to keep its tournament championship hopes alive,
the Rapid City Post 22 Bullets pulled one out - barely.
The Bullets survived a late scare, defeating Miles City, Mont., 7-6
Friday night during the Hargens/Leisy Tournament in Gillette, Wyo.
The Bullets scored four runs in the first inning and led the rest
of the way. In fact, they were one out away from a 7-4 win when Miles City put
together a rally.
Mike Krebs was superb in relief. The slinging side-armer scattered
three hits in four innings, striking out five en route to his first victory of
the season.
Hunter Jackson had two hits and Ryne Lees tripled to lead the
Bullet cause.
The Bullets (20-14) will play Colstrip, Mont., this morning at
10:30 a.m., A win puts the Bullets in the tournament semifinals, while a loss
means the consolation bracket.

Bullets blow big lead in
Gillette
(07.09.2009) - Gillette, Wyo., overcame a 6-1 deficit, scoring four runs in the
bottom of the seventh for an 8-7, come-from-behind victory over the Rapid City
Bullets Thursday morning.
The game marked the start of the Hargens/Leisy Tournament at
Roughrider Stadium in Gillette.
The Bullets took control with a four-run second, and led 5-1 before
Gillette scored single runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth.
Gillette then capitalized on three Bullet errors, plating four
unearned runs in its final at bat.
Jake Sullivan scattered eight hits in six innings, striking out
five while permitting only two earned runs.
Mike Krebs did not allow an earned run in the seventh inning, but
was saddled with the loss.
Sullivan, Ryne Lees and Hunter Jackson all had two hits for the
Bullets, and Sean Seefeldt tripled.
The Bullets, 19-14, play Miles City, Mont., at 5 p.m. Friday
in Gillette.

Bullets roll over Belle Fourche

The Rapid City Post 22 Bullets scored four runs in the first and cruised from
there, defeating Belle Fourche 13-3 in seven innings of a scheduled nine-inning
game at Fitzgerald Stadium.
Jake Sullivan and Tyson Sahli each went 4-for-4 with Sullivan adding four
RBIs to lead the Bullet attack.
Sean Seefeldt contributed three hits, and Tyler Olson and Greg Schaefer each
singled and doubled for the Bullets, who had 17 hits in all.
Roman Dewitt threw five innings and earned the win without allowing an
earned run. He struck out four and scattered three hits.
Ryne Lees threw the final two innings, allowing four hits and one run.
The 19-13 Bullets will take part in the Hargens/Leisy Tournament, beginning
Thursday in Gillette, Wyo.

Colorado Springs routs Bullets
(07.05.2009) - Sunday morning was ugly for the Rapid City Post 22 Bullets.
After starting the Cheyenne Hawks 4th of July Invite 3-1, the
Bullets fell 18-4 in five innings to Colorado Springs, Colo., at Powers Field in
Cheyenne.
The Bullets managed only five hits - two by Jake Sullivan and
Hunter Jackson, and one from Greg Schaefer. Sullivan scored three times, and
Jackson drove in two.
The Bullets (18-13) host the Belle Fourche varsity Wednesday in a 5
p.m. doubleheader at Fitzgerald Stadium.
Bullets down Boulder
(07.04.2009) - Alex Marker carried a shutout into the seventh inning, as the
Rapid City Post 22 Bullets won their second straight at the Cheyenne Hawks
Fourth of July Invitational.
The Bullets defeated Boulder, Colo., 5-4 Friday afternoon at Powers
Field.
Boulder put together a seventh-inning rally, as Mike Krebs was
called upon to get the final out and record the save.
Sam Parkinson had three hits and Greg Schaefer added two more for
the Bullets, who improved to 17-11 on the year.
The Bullets will play Ponderosa (Colo.) at 11:30 a.m., and Rocky
Mountain (Colo). at 2 p.m. today in tournament action.
Bullets split on final day
of Big Stick
(06.29.2009) - The Rapid City Post 22 Bullets saw both ends of the spectrum
Sunday, splitting their final two games of the Big Stick Tournament.
The Bullets defeated Pierre 12-2 in five innings, then fell to
Belle Fourche's varsity 9-8 Sunday at Floyd Fitzgerald Stadium.
Newt Johnson held Pierre to five hits, permitting two unearned
runs. He struck out four while walking only one.
Sean Seefeldt went 3-for-3 with two triples and five RBIs, and
Hunter Jackson doubled, tripled and drove in one for the Bullets.
In the nightcap, the Bullets committed six errors, allowing five
unearned runs in Belle's 9-8 win.
Jarrick Jensen went 3-for-3, Blake Olson and Hunter Jackson had two
hits each, and Sam Parkinson hit a two-run double.
The Bullets, 15-11, will head to Cheyenne, Wyo., to compete in the
Independence Tournament at Powers Field.

(06.28.2009) - Jake Sullivan struck out 10 in a complete game victory, as the
Rapid City Post 22 Bullets turned away Redfield 7-2 Saturday night at the Big
Stick Tournament.
Sullivan did not walk a batter, scattered nine hits, and allowed
just one earned run.
Redfield out-hit the Bullets 9-6, but the visitors left twice as
many runners on (8-4).
Jarrick Jensen and Hunter Jackson
each doubled, as the Bullets tallied six hits by six different players.
The Bullets conclude play in the Big Stick with two games today.
They'll play Pierre at 5 p.m., and Belle Fourche at 7:30 p.m. Sunday night at
Fitzgerald Stadium.

Bullets win seventh straight, sweep Alliance
(06.24.2009) - Ten innings was all the Rapid City Post 22 Bullets needed to
record their third consecutive sweep.
The Bullets ran by Alliance, Neb., 11-1 and 14-4, Wednesday night
at Floyd Fitzgerald Stadium.
Roman Dewitt limited Alliance to four hits in five innings,
allowing a single unearned run in the Bullets' 11-1 opening game win.
Dewitt walked three and struck out three, claiming his third win of
the year.
Blake Olson doubled and tripled, Ryne Lees had two hits, and Jake
Sullivan tripled for the Bullets.
It was Sean Seefeldt's turn to toe the slab in game two, and he
turned in a five-inning complete game, striking out seven, as the Bullets won
14-4.
Seefeldt allowed nine hits and five walks, but pitched around it,
holding Alliance off the board in the final three frames.
Hunter Jackson was 3-for-3 with a double, triple, and three RBIs to
lead the Bullets. Sullivan added a pair of hits, and Sam Parkinson drove in
three.
Riding a seven game win streak, the Bullets will co-host this
weekend's Big Stick Tournament with the Cadets. Action begins Friday at
Fitzgerald Stadium.

Bullets run win streak to five, sweep Spearfish
(06.22.2009) - The Rapid City Post 22 Bullets scored in seven of the 10 innings
they came up Monday night, sweeping the Spearfish Junior Varsity at Floyd
Fitzgerald Stadium.
The Bullets won 16-10 and 11-1 in five innings Monday. They've won
five straight, seven of their last eight, and are 11-9 overall.
In the opener, the Bullets jumped out to a 9-0 lead after three innings, only to
see Spearfish tie the game with nine in the top of the fourth.
Post 22's Bullets responded with five in the fourth and two more in
the sixth, claiming a 16-10 win.
Jarrick Jensen threw 3 1/3 innings of four-hit relief, allowing
only one, unearned, run. He struck out six, walked two, and earned his first win
of the year.
Blake Olson went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, while Jensen, Ryne Lees and
Greg Schaefer all had two hits for the Bullets.
Jake Sullivan was the story of game two. The tall right-hander
threw a five inning one-hitter, striking out seven in the Bullets' 11-1 win.
Sam Parkinson had two hits and two RBIs for the Bullets, who broke
a 1-1 tie with a six-run third.

- The Rapid City Post 22 Bullets used 22 hits in sweeping the Belle Fourche,
S.D., Varsity Friday night in Belle Fourche.
The Bullets won 9-1 and 13-10 under the lights at Belle Fourche
Field.
Ryne Lees tossed a complete game five-hitter in the opener. He
struck out eight, hit four and walked two while recording his first win of the
year.
Jarrick Jensen went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, while Blake
Olson added two hits in the win.
Game two saw the Bullets 6-2 lead fall to the wayside in the fifth,
as the hosts plated six in the inning. That lead was short lived, as the Bullets
used a two-out rally to score six runs and retake the advantage, then hanging on
for the win.
Sam Parkinson doubled twice and drove in three, with Greg Schaefer
and Lees each adding two hits.
Starting pitcher Sean Seefeldt went four-plus innings, and did not
earn a decision. Alex Marker was the winning pitcher, lasting 2 2/3 innings,
while Tyson Sahli retired the final batter for a save.
The Bullets are 9-9, and have won five of their last six. They host
Spearfish, S.D., Monday night in a 5 p.m. doubleheader at Fitzgerald Stadium.

Tyson Sahli's four-hit shutout helped the Rapid City Post 22 Bullets split a
twinbill at Gillette, Wyo., Tuesday night.
The Bullets dropped the opener 15-5 in six innings before claiming
a 9-0 decision in game two at Gillette's Roughrider Stadium.
In game one, Gillette capitalized on seven walks and eight
hit-by-pitches, winning via ten-run rule.
The game ended early despite the fact that each team tallied seven
hits.
Jarrick Jensen had two hits to lead the Bullets, including a
double. Sean Seefeldt also hit a double for Post 22.
Game two was the story of Sahli's solid pitching performance. He
carried a no-hitter into the fourth, striking out seven with just one walk.
Jensen had three more hits, and Tyler Olson had two hits - one a
double - and three RBIs.
Ryne Lees also singled and doubled, driving in two.
The Bullets, 7-9, travel to Belle Fourche for a Friday night
doubleheader. Game time is 5 p.m. in Belle.

Hunter Jackson tossed a four-hit shutout, as the Rapid City Post 22 Bullets
blanked Sheridan, Wyo., 8-0 Sunday in the Top Hitter Tournament at Floyd
Fitzgerald Stadium.
The Bullets won the game in five innings, as the tournament's
eight-run mercy rule went into effect in the bottom of the fifth.
Jackson struck out eight while walking two, improving to 2-0 on the
year.
Sam Parkinson had three hits - two doubles - to lead the Post 22
offensive attack. Jarrick Jensen and Sean Seefeldt both added a pair of hits for
the Bullets.
At 6-8 overall and winners of three straight, the Bullets will try
to get back to .500 Tuesday night with a 5 p.m. twinbill at Gillette, Wyo.

(06.13.2009) - The Rapid City Post 22 Bullets finally played a game
at Floyd Fitzgerald Stadium, and they didn't disappoint their hometown crowd.
The Bullets rallied from 3-0 deficit with a four-run sixth inning,
defeating Casper, Wyo., 4-3 Friday night at the Top Hitter Tournament.
Trailing 3-0, with two on and two out, Roman Dewitt lined a single
to left center to plate the first run.
Four consecutive walks allowed three more runs to score, with Ryne
Lees earning the game-winning RBI.
Jake Sullivan went the distance on the bump, scattering eight hits
in seven innings. He struck out four while walking only one, permitting two
earned runs.
Sam Parkinson led the Bullets' offensive attack with two hits, a
walk and a run scored.
The 5-8 Bullets play one game today, taking on Scottsbluff, Neb.,
at 7:30 p.m. at Fitzgerald Stadium.

(06.10.2009) - Neither Alliance,
Neb., nor the rain, could stop the Rapid
City Post 22 Bullets from getting back into
the win column.
The Bullets used 10 hits and 19 walks to notch a 20-6, five-inning
victory over Alliance Tuesday night at Bower
Shankland Field in Alliance.
Game two was washed out due to rain.
The Bullets built up a 14-0 lead, and every player reached base at
least twice, as the squad ended it six-game
losing skid.
Hunter Jackson was 3-for-4, Mike Krebs had two hits and two RBIs,
Roman Dewitt drove in four runs and Blake
Olson knocked in three.
Sean Seefeldt and Alex Marker combined on a one-hitter, with Marker
gaining the win in 2 1/3 innings of relief.
The game was started 40 minutes early, and there was a 20-minute
rain delay after the third inning.
Now 4-8, the Bullets will co-host the Top Hitter Tournament with
the Cadets, Friday through Sunday at
Fitzgerald Stadium.

cruised to a 10-0, five-inning victory over
the Rapid City Post 22 Bullets Sunday
morning in Cheyenne, Wyo.
It was the fourth and final game for the Bullets in this weekend's
Hawks Tournament at Cheyenne's Powers Field.
Two of the first three Bullets to hit rapped out singles, but they
would not manage another hit the rest of the
way.
Wheatland pushed across single runs in the first and third, and
four runs in each the second and fourth
innings to win via the mercy rule.
Greg Schaefer and Roman Dewitt had the lone Bullets hits. Tyson
Sahli was the pitcher of record.
With the loss, the Bullets dropped to 3-8. Both the Bullets and
Cadets will host the Top Hitter Tournament,

Bullets drop two in Cheyenne Tourney
(06.06.2009) - The Post 22 Bullets'
struggles continued Saturday in Cheyenne,
Wyo.
The Bullets dropped a pair of decisions in the Hawks Tournament at
Powers Field.
Denver, Colo., Playball Sports downed the Bullets 8-4, followed by
North Platte, Neb., handing them a 9-5 loss.
In the Denver contest, the Bullets fell behind 4-0, then rallied
with three in the fourth. Playball plated
two in the fifth and two more in the sixth
before the Bullets managed one in the
seventh.
Greg Schaefer was 3-for-4 and Sam Parkinson had a two-run single
for the Bullets.
Game two was a pitchers' duel gone awry. The contest was tied 1-1
until North Platte put up a five-run bottom
of the fifth, and added three in the sixth.
The Bullets pushed across four in the seventh, but it was too
little, too late.
Jarrick Jensen had two hits and Dylan Evans drove in two for the
Bullets.
Now 3-7, the Bullets look to get off the snide Sunday morning as
they finish up play in the tournament. They
take on Wheatland, Wyo., at 9:30 a.m. at
Powers Field.

scored eight runs in the first two innings
and held off the Rapid City Post 22 Bullets,
winning 8-4 Friday night.
It was the first of four games for the Bullets in the Hawks
Tournament at Powers Field in Cheyenne.
The Hawks pounded out six hits en route to an 8-1 lead after two
innings.
Bullet reliever Hunter Jackson came on to stifle the Hawks for the
final four frames, allowing only two base
runners - a hit and a walk - while striking
out two.
Blake Olson singled, doubled and had an RBI, Ryne Lees had a pair
of hits, and Newt Johnson hit a run-scoring
single for the Bullets.
The 3-5 Bullets play two games today in the tournament. They'll
take on Denver (Colo.) Playball Sports at
2:30 p.m., followed by a 5 p.m. meeting with

Sunday’s single game Monday afternoon.
Scottsbluff, Neb., held the
Bullets to five total hits in two games,
sweeping a doubleheader 5-0 and 3-0 in
Scottsbluff.
The hosts took the opener, as
the Bullets left the bases loaded twice.
Hunter Jackson and Tyson Sahli provided the
lone Rapid City hits.
Jake Sullivan was the pitcher
of record. He allowed three runs while
striking out five in three-plus innings.
In game two, the Bullets’
defense was their demise. They committed
four errors while garnering only three hits,
as Scottsbluff notched a 3-0 win.
Sahli threw five strong
innings, scattering four hits. He allowed a
pair of unearned runs in the third,
suffering the loss.
Dylan Evans, Sean Seefeldt and
Ryne Lees each had hits for the Bullets.
The Bullets (3-4) have over a
week off until returning to action. Their
home opener is next Wednesday, June 3, when
they host Sturgis, S.D., for a 5 p.m.
doubleheader.

dominate Scottsbluff
(05.24.2009) - The Post 22 Bullets were only
able to play one game in Scottsbluff, Neb.,
on Sunday, but they made the most of it.
The Bullets dominated Scottsbluff, winning 15-0 in four innings at
Cleveland Field.
Game two was canceled due to rain after the top of the first
inning.
Roman Dewitt shutout the hosts on three hits, striking out three
while walking four.
Hunter Jackson and Dylan Evans each drove in three, with
Jarrick Jensen and Jake Sullivan each had
two hits.
The Bullets (3-2) and Scottsbluff are slated for a noon
doubleheader Monday at Cleveland Field.

Bullets split
again with Cheyenne Prep
(05.18.2009) - Two more wild affairs in
Cheyenne, Wyo., saw the Post 22 Bullets and
Cheyenne Prep split the final games of the
weekend series at Powers Field.
Cheyenne won game one 12-7, before the Bullets won a 19-7,
five-inning nightcap.
In the opener, the Bullets 5-1 lead fell by the wayside, as
Cheyenne tallied eight runs in the fourth en
route to a 12-7 win.
The Bullets managed just three hits - only one in the first six
innings. Hunter Jackson's two-run single in
the second was the offensive highlight.
Tyson Sahli threw well in 3 2/3 innings of work, but was victimized
by seven unearned runs in the loss.
The Bullets broke out the bats in game two, knocking 18 hits and
scoring five runs in three separate innings,
defeating Cheyenne via the ten-run rule.
Tyler Olson was 3-for-5 with two doubles, Jarrick Jensen had three
hits and three RBIs, and Greg Schaefer also
had three hits for Post 22. Ryne Lees added
two hits and four RBIs.
Jackson threw three scheduled innings for the win, while Sean
Seefeldt threw two shutout frames in relief.
The Bullets are 2-2 and travel to Scottsbluff, Neb., for a
four-game set Memorial Day weekend.

Cheyenne split two wild games
(05.17.2009) - It took nearly six
hours for the Post 22 Bullets' season
opening doubleheader to come to an end.
The pair of roller coaster rides ended with each side claiming one
- the Bullets took game one, 16-13, while
Cheyenne, Wyo., Prep, won the nightcap
14-11.
In the opener, the Bullets overcame an early 5-1 deficit, taking a
10-7 lead into the sixth. Cheyenne then
plated six to take a 13-10 lead, only to see
the Bullets regain the edge with six of
their own in the seventh.
The Bullets rapped out 13 hits, led by Sean Seefeldt's 3-for-3
night. Jake Sullivan, Sam Parkinson and Ryne
Lees each added two hits.
Roman Dewitt recorded the final four outs in relief to earn the
victory.
Cheyenne responded in game two with a six-run second inning, taking
an 8-3 lead it would not relinquish.
The Bullets outhit the hosts 10-5, but also left twice as many
runners on in the defeat.
Jarrick Jensen went 3-for-3 with three RBIs to lead the Bullets.
Seefeldt and Hunter Jackson chimed in with
two hits apiece.
Sullivan was the pitcher of record, allowing two earned runs in his
one-plus inning of work.
The Bullets and Cheyenne finish their four-game weekend series this
morning with a 9 a.m. twinbill at Powers
Field in Cheyenne.
