Bud Bartholow is returning to coach in the Rapid City post 22 baseball program.  During his playing days at  Post 22, Bud was a  pitcher, catcher, and outfielder.    In 1978 bud received the South Dakota American Legion player of the year award.  Post 22 won the South Dakota state championship that year  before losing the championship game in the great plains national regional. 

Bud played his collegiate baseball at oral Roberts University.  During bud’s career  at Oral Roberts, he set many pitching records.  Bud was drafted and signed with the Philadelphia Phillies.  He played in the Philly organization from 1981-1984.  He has coached baseball all around the country at different levels. 

He works at Ainsworth Gaming and is married to Charlene.  They have two sons, foster and matt.
