Jeff Barbier returns for his second season as youth pitching coach with the Post 22 program.

   Barbier is a former Post 22 standout on the bump. He played four summers for the hardhats, earning all-state honors as a pitcher in 1988.

   An excellent athlete, Barbier was also an all state tackle for the Rapid City Stevens football program. He was a member of the 1987 Raiders football team that won the South Dakota 11AA State Championship.

   Following high school, Barbier continued his athletic career at Cameron University, in Lawton, Okla. He was a four-year letter winner as a college pitcher. During his career at Cameron, Barbier set school records for career appearances and career saves out of the bullpen.

   Barbier earned his B.S. in accounting from Cameron in 1992, and finished up work on his MBA at the University of South Dakota in 2004.

   He is married to his wife of 13 years, Kelly, and has three children - Rollie, Regann and Braden.
